Clean hands and bright smiles are the foundation of good health! The Healthy Glow Group, a youth-led community project, recently conducted an engaging and educational hygiene awareness event at CYM Organization in Sangkat Kakab 1, Khan Posenchey, Phnom Penh City.
This impactful activity aimed to promote children's physical hygiene by teaching them essential habits for clean hands and healthy teeth.
Learning Through Action:
Participants: 30 children (14 girls) from kindergarten and Grade 2 classes joined the event.
Interactive Learning: The session began with a lively introduction to proper handwashing and teeth-cleaning techniques. Youth leaders demonstrated step-by-step instructions, making the lessons easy and fun!
Hands-On Practice: To reinforce the learning, children practiced cleaning their hands and brushing their teeth, even helping their friends master the techniques.
