Training Program on Leadership and Social Media (LSM)

Founded in 1997, VBNK (www.vbnk.org) is a dynamic learning organization at the forefront of capacity development in the Cambodian social development sector. VBNK's mission “is to be the leading capacity development organization in Cambodia. We achieve this through an accompaniment model of processes that enable organizational strengthening and community participation so that all agencies and individuals that we work with can reach their goals.”

In May 2024, VBNK received funding from USAID through Advancing Youth Leadership for the implementation of project activity on enhancing ‘the Leadership and Civic Engagement of Youth in Phnom Penh’. This project will last for 1 year, starting from June 2024 to May 2025.

The project will select and train a group of 60 Phnom Penh-based youth in leadership, social media, and practical action skills, and support the application of those skills in civic engagement activities of the youth’s choosing.

The project will develop youths’ leadership and practical action skills and support the application of those skills in civic engagement activities.
